"Amazing host and really nice place at Macao beach"

Owner is so gentle, he was very kind, helpful, gave excellent service and directions of the surroundings at Macao. Place was really clean, and services were also good. Breakfast was prepared at the moment by the owner, really nice!

Very nice and stylish place with an option to make tea or cook something in the common area. The host is very kind, friendly, helpful and the breakfast he made was very good. The place has a good mood and atmosphere. Thank you so much!We also enjoyed the nearby restaurant. The beach is in a walk distance and it's beautiful!

"Home in Domrep"

The owner is simply the sweetest and greastest person. He‘ll try his best to make you feel home. We had a great time with all from the hostel on New Years Eve. Also they have some cute dogs there.

Amazing and very helpful hosts - don't worry if you don't know Spanish - Jorge will always find a way to explain you everything in details ;) They were also very flexible when it comes to check in time. Delicious breakfast, very clean rooms. The Macao beach is just 7 minutes walk from the hotel. If you want to have a rest from the crowd - Johnnier is highly recommended!

"Superb"

Everything was clean.The rooms are simple, but have good AC.WI-Fi was good in my room and in the kitchen/dining area.Breakfast was really good (eggs, vegetables, toasts, fruits, drinks). Coffee was excellent.There was a fridge in the outdoor kitchen but the temperature was high for fridge. You can keep food there but not long time.The owner invited me several time for lunch. It was very delicious Dominican food.George was really nice and always there.The staff didn't speak a lot of English.Macao is a beautiful beach with lots of restaurants.Beach is in walking distance (15-20 min). it's better to go further to the right, there are much smaller waves.Small shops for basic groceries around.ATM charged 5-7% to take cash.

"Exceptional"

Absolutely amazing experience. Jorge went over expectations that we have pleasent stay. Area also really cozy and local. Our luggage were lost during flight. This place made our 3 stay amazing still. Can't recommend enough. Town it self is quiet but really friendly and safe. Dogs at venue are amazing as well.

Everything is clean, the wi-fi is good, all your needs are covered and Jorge is an amazing host. He cares about everything and everyone.

"Great place to use as a base"

A home away from home. Simple, very clean rooms. Don Jorge and Angelica are the best! Breakfast was joyful each morning and delicious.We had recommendations for booking a car and other activities. The area is great if you want to chill, walk to the beach and just be in a quiet spot. It just has a good, home vibe that you appreciate when traveling.

"The best experience"

I felt like being part of a family and got immersed in a truly Dominican experience. The hosts were just incredible! The place is basic, but kept extremely clean. Bed was very comfortable, breakfast simply delicious! The beach is 10 mins away and is stunning. Away from mass tourism, I would highly recommend staying at the hostel. It is also suitable for remote workers!
